Keynote Speaker- Dr. Corey Frazier, Ph.D., PE
Engineering & Techology Equity Leader at Intel
Corey heads the Outreach Marketing Program for Intel’s Commercial Segment, where he uses technology and other resources to accelerate innovation and drive impact while demonstrating that “tech for good” is also good for business. He has a 20-year career spanning engineering management and design team leadership, innovation coaching, quality systems management, AI competitive analysis, and startup portfolio management and incubation, having managed programs like the Aurora Supercomputer and Intel’s Startup Incubator.
Prior to Intel, Corey worked for NASA’s Space Shuttle Program leading engineering efforts across 13 successful missions – including frequent missions to the International Space Station and the last mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope.
He is the founder and principal consultant for TechQuity, which endeavors to elevate technology adoption, access, and proficiency in marginalized communities, through program development and thought leadership. He has delivered a multi-county scholastic esports league in Oregon’s most diverse school districts, developed STEAM related camps for youth, consulted on proof-of-concept technologies, and developed growth plans for STEAM-based community organizations.
Keynote: "Sparking Learning Through Collaboration: Using Grassroots Partnerships to Pioneer Technology Usages in Education and Beyond"
In this talk, Corey will inspire attendees to explore win-win outcomes through industry collaboration and he’ll reinforce how schools play a vital, thought leadership role in helping tech companies like Intel shed light on productivity and learning improvements afforded by new products and emerging technologies like AI. He will share his journey from the Space Shuttle to the Aurora Supercomputer to community leader, his experiences in doing more with less within the industry while still being impactful, and how he has crafted a framework that demonstrates that “Tech for Good, is Good for Business” – where programs further the goals of both educators and Intel’s business. Attendees will learn principles for effective industry/education partnerships and lessons learned from Corey’s tangible experiences in helping communities in need adopt emerging technologies through grassroots partnership, and how tip-of-the-spear efforts with schools will be vital for demonstrating the value of AI in the classroom.

Peer Collaboration Within the K-12 Environment
Regardless of the position held in a K-12 educational technology environment, meaningful collaboration, cooperation and discourse with peers is essential. Gathering ideas, sharing struggles, solving problems together and supporting one another are critical components of our sometimes siloed jobs. This session will be less of a "talk" and more of a discussion that will allow all participants to share their insights, successes and aspirations for professional dialogue, whether through an official organization or ad hoc meetings.
