I have always tried to live a life serving others. Working for NEWESD 101 allows me to do this. I really enjoy working in a field that is continually growing in its role to educate students. While I don't directly teach scholars, I help provide tools and resources to educators to enhance students' educational experiences.

A builder of systems and excellence, a lifelong learner with a Master's degree focused in Organizational Leadership from Seattle University and Superintendent's credentials from Western Washington University.
WSSEA
In addition to his role at Tacoma Public Schools, Jake has been an active member of the WSSEA board since Spring 2023 and now serves as the Executive Director. In this capacity, he contributes to promoting healthy gaming habits and fostering community among high school esports participants throughout Washington State.
